About

I'm a security engineer focused on AI security. My work sits where security engineering, compliance, and machine learning meet: mapping AI risks, building security gates into software pipelines, and making sure AI systems handle data responsibly.

What I do now

As Security Owner at CCAI, I maintain the AI risk register and report new threats to the CTO, build and own the GitHub pipeline security gates for our AI systems, flag EU AI Act compliance triggers in pull requests, and review every AI-touching release before it ships.

Background

I spent several years at the University of Notre Dame's Office of Information Technology and Center for Research Computing: first building secure data collection tools as a research programmer, then supporting endpoint compliance and incident response as a computer consultant, and most recently as an information security intern doing third-party risk assessments (HECVAT) and writing custom AI detection rules for phishing campaigns.

I hold an MS in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science with a focus on information security and AI, and a BS in Computer Science with a mathematics minor, both from Indiana University South Bend. My graduate research focused on privacy-preserving AI and system reliability.
